Community Involvement
Cyrus Shahriari comes from a family committed to “doing good while doing well.” He learned early on that involvement in the community was as important as any other part of one’s life.
In high school, Cyrus volunteered at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and at other South Bay patient care facilities. While a student at the University of Southern California, he organized concerts to raise money to support programs that assisted injured Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters and their families.
Persians 4 Cure
Since 2016, Cyrus has been an active board member of Persians 4 Cure, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing cancer awareness and raising funding to support innovate research to cure cancer and programs designed to improve patient care, treatment, and cancer survival rates.
Persians 4 Cure was founded by Cyrus’s close family friend Mrs. Manizheh Yomtoubian, who also serves on the board of the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation (JCCF).
Persians 4 Cure is comprised of a diverse team of Los Angeles professionals, including members with backgrounds in medicine, law, finance and marketing who voluntarily contribute their time and efforts. The organization has already proven to be a potent force in the fight against cancer.
