Cyrus Shahriari

When Los Angeles trial lawyer Cyrus Shahriari graduated from law school, he began making a name for himself within the rarefied world of Southern California trial lawyers. His commitment to detail, legal research skills, and ability to develop and implement innovative legal strategies for each case he worked on resulted in numerous successful results for his clients.

Cyrus began his career at two leading defense firms that concentrated their practices in the areas of business, employment, product liability, and personal injury litigation. It was at these firms that he learned how defense attorneys develop cases, what strategies they use, and how they build a case. But he knew that someday he wanted to open his own firm, and with that in mind, he put all his energy into learning everything he could at the firms he was with.

Cyrus took away from these experiences two important things:

  • He could hold his own against Big Law and top firms, and
  • That as much as he enjoyed defending companies, his passion was making a difference in people’s lives.

Though Cyrus Shahriari was on track to make partner, he knew that if he wanted to fulfill his dream to use his law degree in ways that would be meaningful to the individual, as well as to society, he would have to take a significant personal risk.

In early 2017, Cyrus took the risk to create the career he’d dreamed of by opening The Shahriari Law Firm.

Now Cyrus fights for people’s rights against large corporations, insurance companies, public entities, and landlords and property management firms. Cyrus understands that whether it’s an employment, personal injury, insurance bad faith, or tenants’ rights litigation, the results he gets make a huge difference in his clients’ lives.

Cyrus Shahriari also practices business law and litigation with his partner, acclaimed business lawyer Morgan Pietz, through their law firm Pietz & Shahriari. The two handle intellectual property, copyright infringement, trademark, trade secret, fraud, contracts, breach of contract, and and business torts.

Representing people who have suffered damages because of the carelessness or negligence of others has been Cyrus’s dream, and now, with The Shahriari Law Firm, he’s ready to fight for you.
